Jahlaam the Singer
Jahlaam found music as her first love at a young age singing Whitney Houston, Anita Baker, and Aaliyah at the age of four. Drawing inspiration from her siblings and parents various music influences, she found herself drawn to hip hop, tejano, r&b, jazz + more. Continuing to use her voice and instruments to create music she found success with her first single “Everything” while taking a break from college in 2015. Her latest single “Cinnamon” will drop Spring 2018.

Jahlaam the DJ 
Her curiosity and inspiration for learning the artform of DJ-ing began in college and was solidified from watching her friends perform who were veteran DJs. She began to teach herself how to blend, cut and scratch in her last year of college (2016) and has been working to perfect her craft ever since with consistent mixes and practice.

Jahlaam the Sports Fanatic
Sports has been a big part of Jahlaam’s life. As a child she went to went NBA games with her family and participated in tennis and cheerleading in high school and college. She became a fan of basketball by reading up on articles written in Slam Magazine that were authored by her older brother, also a huge basketball fan. She uses her enthusiasm and knowledge for the sport to create vlogs on her YouTube channel.
